About Nkohla Attorneys
Nkohla Attorneys is a 100% black owned boutique law firm established in 2016, with special focus on lower to middle class communities in the townships. The firm boasts its position as the biggest firm in the Western Cape townships with a total of eight staff members, more than 40 (forty) years of combined staff work experience in law and finance and 90% of female staff members (including the owner), and the only township Conveyancing firm.
Our firm boast with a workforce which has an aggregate work experience of more than 40 years. Our staff consists of Mr Nkohla the director, two Associates, three Candidate Attorneys, Conveyancing l Secretary, a Bookkeeper and Motor Vehicle Accident Secretary, and a Receptionist. All staff attend seminars, workshops and conferences to update and improve their legal expertise and skills.
The firm opened its first office in Khayelitsha, Site B, Bonga Drive (which now is the head office) as a general practice, centrally located and giving access to all areas of Cape Town and courts, as well as in the centre of Khayelitsha which has a population of more than one million. Due to the high demand for Conveyancing and Motor vehicle claims services, the firm shifted restructured and rebranded during August 2019 to ensure that the best quality, and timeous legal services are provided to the market. As result of the restructure, a new office was opened in September 2019 in Benzal House, 3 Barrack Street, Cape Town, which office is with a reasonable distances from the Deeds Registry Office, The City of Cape Town offices, the Western Cape High Court, The Master of the High Court, and The Road Accident Fund offices.

An Admitted Attorney, Conveyancer, registered Tax Practitioner, a Business Accountant in Practice, member of SAIBA, member of South African Institute of Risk Management, founder of Nkohla Attorneys, specialising in Property Law, Personal Injury Claims and Family Law.
Previous working experience includes 6 years as Financial Accountant/ERM Officer, 1 and half years as Assistant Payroll Accountant, 1 and half years as Credit Controller, and and 1 and half years Labour Relations Agent.
Hold an LLB (2014), B Com (2008)with majors in Accounting and Economics, and a Labour Relations Practice certificate (2006), and Practical Legal Training (2015).
Worked in Botswana and Namibia. I have extensive experience on Tax, and VAT, and drafted a lot of policies and designed Financial processes.
Have working knowledge of LRA, BCEA, COIDA, Income Tax Act, VAT Act, NCA, FICA, PIE Act, and Criminal Procedure Act
